Skin Clinic in Gurgaon
Search for a skin clinic in Gurgaon and you will find three quite different kinds of place under one label. Knowing which you need saves you money and disappointment. Denz Aesthetics belongs to the middle group below: a doctor-led clinic for facial aesthetics and anti-ageing, in Sector 48, run by Dr Lokesh Yadav, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon and trained facial aesthetician. It is not a dermatology practice, and it does not claim to be one.
Three kinds of skin clinic
- A dermatology practice is led by a dermatologist, who diagnoses and treats skin disease: eczema, psoriasis, severe acne, infections, rashes and hair disorders.
- A doctor-led aesthetic clinic focuses on how the skin and face look and age. A doctor assesses you and is responsible for the treatment.
- A salon or spa offers facials and pampering. Pleasant, but no medical assessment is involved, and nobody is there to deal with a reaction.
Which one fits your problem
If something is itchy, spreading, painful, or a mole has changed, see a dermatologist. If your concern is dullness, tanning, marks left by old acne, open pores, fine lines or a face that looks more tired than you feel, an aesthetic clinic is a reasonable place to start. When in doubt, send a photo: you will be told if this is the wrong clinic for it.
Questions that separate good clinics from busy ones
- Will a doctor see me, or only a sales counsellor?
- Who performs the treatment, and who is responsible if my skin reacts?
- Can I leave after the consultation without buying a package?
- What will this not fix?
That last question is the most useful. A clinic that can answer it is thinking about your skin.

Is Denz Aesthetics a dermatology clinic?
No. It is a dental clinic with a separate facial aesthetics zone, led by an oral and maxillofacial surgeon who is a trained facial aesthetician. For skin disease, see a dermatologist.
Do I have to buy a package?
No. A consultation is an assessment and a conversation. Nothing is done on the same visit unless you want it and it is appropriate.
Can you treat active acne?
Oily, acne-prone skin and old marks can be helped with peels and facials. Severe or painful acne is better seen by a dermatologist first.
Do you remove moles?
Moles, warts and skin tags are removed in a short visit. A mole that has changed in size, shape or colour should be checked by a dermatologist before any removal.
