Chemical Peel Treatment in Sector 48, Gurgaon

Wall panel listing carbon facial and chemical peel at Denz Aesthetics, Sector 48, Gurgaon

Most questions about chemical peel treatment in Sector 48, Gurgaon are really about the days after: how red will I get, will I flake at work, and when can I go out? This page takes you through it from preparation to the end of the first week, as it runs at Denz Aesthetics at Vipul World. Your own peel may be lighter or stronger, and you will be told what to expect before it is applied.

The fortnight before

Your peel and its strength are chosen at a consultation. Some people are given a simple routine to prepare their skin at home. Keep up your sunscreen, and do not tan on purpose. Stop retinoids and exfoliating products when the clinic tells you to. Let the clinic know if you get cold sores, or if your skin has become irritated.

The session

  1. Your skin is cleansed so that the solution can act evenly.
  2. The peel is applied and timed. Tingling or mild stinging is normal.
  3. When the time is up, it is neutralised or removed.
  4. Soothing products and sunscreen go on before you leave.

If you are having the carbon laser peel, a carbon layer is applied and a laser is passed over it. There is usually less to manage afterwards, and that peel tends to leave an instant glow.

Your first week, day by day

  • Day 1. Skin feels tight and may look pink, as if lightly sunburnt. Wash gently with cool water and use only what you were given.
  • Days 2 and 3. Tightness grows, and your skin may look a little darker before it peels. That is expected.
  • Days 3 to 5. Fine flaking may start with stronger peels, usually around the mouth first. Leave it alone. Lighter peels may barely flake at all.
  • Days 5 to 7. Newer skin shows through and looks more even. It is still delicate, so carry on with sun protection.

Rules that protect your result

  • Never pick or pull at peeling skin, as that can leave marks
  • Use sunscreen every day, and reapply it when outdoors
  • Stay away from saunas, swimming and heavy sweating for a few days
  • Keep active products off your skin until you are told to restart them

Call the clinic if you notice blisters, crusting, severe pain or spreading redness.

The next session

Results build across a series of sessions, spaced a few weeks apart. Each one is planned around how your skin behaved after the last. If you are still choosing a peel, read about how strength is decided.

The clinic is open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 8pm. Book through +91 98182 79717 by call or WhatsApp, and try to plan a peel ahead of a quieter few days.

Frequently asked questions

Can I go to work the next day?

After a light peel, usually yes. After a stronger one, you may be flaking for a few days, so plan around any important meetings or photos.

Can I wear make-up after a peel?

Ask at your visit, as it depends on the strength of the peel. Give your skin a break until it has settled, if you can.

What if my skin does not peel?

That is fine. Visible flaking does not measure how well a peel has worked, and lighter peels often cause very little.

When can I exercise again?

Light activity is usually fine. Avoid heavy sweating for a few days, as it can sting and irritate fresh skin.
